The snow has not even hit the ground and Eternal’s very own Chas Guldemond is already starting off the season with a win. Chas just got back to the states after winning the biggest event in Zurich, Switzerland the Freestyle.ch. Check out some of the highlights. Congrats Chas!!
And his winning run!
Alice Gong, Eternal Am Team Member, was fortunate enough to make it down for some summer shred in South America armed with her trusty Bataleon Snowboard, all while we were all stuck in the office
Here are words and pics from Alice herself.
“Hey friends! I just got back from my first South American snowboard adventure!
Like most of North America, Chile had a pretty rough snow season. After a month of no snow, finally there was a blanket of fresh that day at Valle Nevado!
Even without pow there are always sunny park days to enjoy. This was El Colorado’s Rey del Park (King of the Park) contest, a three part event with a big air, rail jam and a slope style.
With all the snow melting fast the beginning of September we hit the back country. An hour and a half hike out of La Parva resort we found this….
This was the first chute I have ever ridden!
And the next day we hiked a little further and found more…
A little exploring in the company of good friends got me to these excellent turns! Though mother nature didn’t provide us as much snow as other years, she gave us plenty to have tons fun!”
